Brigitte Gomelsky Kay is Of Counsel with Ecoff Campain & Kay, LLP. Ms. Kay focuses her practice on litigation matters, including business, real estate and employment. She also has significant experience representing creditors, individual and corporate debtors, trustees, landlords and creditors’ committees in bankruptcy cases and adversary proceedings.
Ms. Kay served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Ellen Carroll, United States Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California, where she was responsible for composing detailed tentative rulings, drafting bench memoranda, and addressing motions and applications involving a variety of issues, including property valuation, dismissal and dischargeability.
Ms. Kay was recognized as a Southern California Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2010, 2011 and 2012, an honor bestowed on attorneys under the age of 40 and which includes no more than 2.5% of lawyers in each state. Ms. Kay received her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, in history from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2003 and her law degree from Loyola Law School in 2007.
